Blind Veterans UK believes that no one who has served our country should have to battle blindness alone. We offer them access to the highest quality of services to help them discover life beyond sight loss.

As part of the ambitious Engagement Strategy a new Fundraising Planning and Performance team has been created. This is a great opportunity to set up a brand new team that will play a critical role in enabling a data driven approach to decision making within the Engagement Team.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate how data can be utilised to build understanding of how customers engage with our organisation and how this knowledge will help build mutually beneficial customer journeys. This will be coupled with good technical skills in regards to data manipulation and visualisation, experienced line management and the ability to engage people of all levels to be excited about the power of data.

The post holder will:

  • Work with the Head of Customer Services and Data Management to identify and manage all data insight projects and ensure that interpretations of the findings and insights are delivered to the appropriate senior stakeholders in order to inform and drive future performance and strategies.

  • Identify and deliver data based solutions e.g. predictive data models, propensity models, forecasting models that maximise supporter responsiveness, engagement, loyalty and support in response to internal customer need.

• Promote the value of an insight and evidence based culture across the Engagement function, including recognising where intelligence has wider impact and looking for opportunities to use and exchange data across the organisation.

  • Manage the analysis of fundraising campaigns and products, working closely with the relevant fundraising teams to identify key learning and make recommendations for future activity

In return, we offer the opportunity to be part of a team that transforms lives.  We also offer a wide range of benefits and career development opportunities for the right candidate.
