Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

Soccer Aid for Unicef brings together two teams of celebrities and football legends for the biggest celebrity charity football match in the calendar, broadcast live on ITV. The event started in 2006 and has taken place every two years since, raising more than £30million for Unicef UK and providing much needed support for children in danger.

As Senior Content Manager, you will provide strategic creative oversight and expertise, producing and delivering engaging, audience-led content for all things Soccer Aid, from schools fundraising to match day content for the stadium.

The role requires strategic thinking to implement the content strategy and set up content planning processes, as well as the ability to produce creative ideas across a variety of channels. We are looking for strong copywriting and visual design skills, excellent people management practices, and the ability to drive work streams forward.

You will be able to build and maintain strong relationships, and you will excel at working collaboratively across multiple teams and partners to ensure effective processes, integration and delivery. Experience of a multi-channel large scale campaign will be an advantage.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on Unicef UK’s biggest fundraising project, delivering much needed support for children in danger.

Closing date: 5pm, Monday 5 November 2018.

Interview date: Thursday 15 November 2018.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
