We provide a range of services and opportunities to help people live as independently as possible. We campaign to improve the quality of life of the people across the UK who live with muscle-wasting conditions.

Are you positive and results-driven with a great track record in fundraising, sales or marketing?

Our regional fundraising team delivers over £1.8m a year across the UK to help us deliver Advocacy, Care, Support and Research to those living with a muscle wasting condition.

We need a fundraiser to help us raise more and encourage more people to become part of the Muscular Dystrophy UK family.

We are looking for someone who is experienced in working in either a fundraising, sales or marketing environment, confident working independently, equipped with a strategic mind-set, focus, drive and enthusiasm, as well as excellent communication and relationship building skills.

You will have strong planning skills and be able to prioritise the multiple calls on your time in this varied role. You'll be part of our vision to create “A world with effective treatments and cures for all muscle-wasting condition and no limits in life for affected individuals and families”.

As Regional Development Manager for South Wales and South West you will work with local supporters including businesses, individuals, community groups, volunteers and media contacts to raise awareness of our vital work and how each supporter can make a real difference.

Our fundraisers are home based workers who travel extensively within the defined geographical area for their role. You must have a full UK driving licence at the time of application and the work will also require some unsocial and out of hours working. A car is provided.
