Our Individual Giving Unit recruits, retains and develops the support of individuals and households in the UK. We’re recruiting a highly motivated and passionate individual to join the Acquisition Team as a Direct Marketing Officer). The team has ambitious targets and plans and works in collaboration to generate the best ROI and experience to enable Plan International UK to deliver its work.

This role is integral to the success of the team and will manage supporter recruitment campaigns across a range of media and channels, including Face to Face, DRTV, telephone and inserts. You will be responsible for ensuring campaigns are delivered to the highest standard through optimising response and minimising campaign costs and will work with colleagues to ensure new supporters and enquirers receive the best possible experience. You will also be accountable for inspiring and engaging our fundraisers and developing a programme of inspiring activities.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is looking to develop.

You will need to have experience of working in a fundraising/marketing environment, specifically in direct marketing and of managing campaigns for acquisition direct marketing appeals across different channels. Ideally you will also have a strong ability to problem-solve and spot where processes can be improved.
