c.£48,000 per annum
Colindale, NW London

The Royal Air Force Museum is a national museum, a Government non-departmental public body (NDPB) and a registered charity, with two sister sites at London and Cosford. RAF Museum Enterprises Ltd is the trading arm of the RAF Museum with all profits gift-aided to the Museum to support its charitable activities. Our purpose is to share the RAF story, past, present and future - using the stories of its people and our collections in order to engage, inform and inspire everyone. Our overall vision is to inspire everyone with the RAF story – the people who shape it and its place in our lives.

Having just completed a multimillion pound redevelopment project on site, there has never been a better time to join our award-winning museum.

A position has arisen for a Head of Development who will be responsible for the development and delivery of the RAF Museum’s fundraising strategy and plans for agreed capital and revenue programmes.

The post holder will inspire and engage all stakeholders, both internal and external, responding positively to issues and challenges in a fast-changing environment.

Experience in developing and delivering fundraising strategies is an essential requirement for this post, combined with demonstrable experience of securing five-six figure gifts through corporates, Trusts and Foundations and/or High Net Worth Individuals.

The post will be based in Colindale, NW London. Travel between the Museum’s sites and abroad will be required.
