The vision of great philanthropists has shaped our world for centuries and nowhere is this more evident than in Oxford. Founded by philanthropy in 1314, Exeter College is the fourth oldest College in the University and philanthropy continues to play a central role in delivering the College’s vision for future generations of students.

Just under two years ago, the completion of Cohen Quad - the College’s third quadrangle - showed us what can be accomplished when committed philanthropists are inspired to bring a clear and compelling vision to life. It has become a springboard for Exeter’s philanthropic ambitions, and you can join us as we take the leap to begin the next phase of our Development journey. The success of the Alumni Fund is critical to our future and you will lead its growth.

We have an opportunity for a talented professional to join our established Development and Alumni Relations team. If your skills lie in leading and developing strategies for engaging cross-channel direct marketing programmes with an appealing fundraising message that inspires people to give, then consider becoming our Development Officer (Alumni Fund).

Other key responsibilities will include identifying and soliciting prospects, and collaborating with other members of the team to develop and implement a schedule of fundraising and stewardship events for the 1314 Society and the Alumni Fund.

If you would like to know more about the role, please check out the Vacancies page on the Exeter College (Oxford) website.

The salary for this post will be within a range £28,660 - £34,189 per annum, depending on skills and experience. In addition to salary, the College offers a range of other benefits, including generous annual leave allowance, contributory pension scheme, and training & development opportunities.

We must receive your application by 12pm noon on Friday 8 March 2019.

Interviews will be held in Oxford on Tuesday 26 March 2019, and we look forward to learning more about you then.
