Trusts Fundraising Officer

Action Medical Research is a UK-wide charity on a mission to save and change children’s lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures.

We’ve been funding medical breakthroughs since we began over 65 years ago and have helped to beat polio in the UK, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy.

But medical research for children is underfunded and we urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures. That’s why we need you to help in our fight for little lives.

We are seeking a Trusts Fundraising Officer to join our ambitious charitable trusts team, supporting delivery of the trusts fundraising plan and maximising income from trusts and foundations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for researching new trust income sources, developing compelling proposals to secure funding and providing excellent stewardship of donors to build long term relationships.

Proven experience of successful trusts fundraising is essential and the candidate will need to be proactive, naturally well organised, with the ability to craft powerful proposals. An understanding of fundraising from trusts for medical research causes is desirable.
