Age UK Essex is an ambitious local charity with a proud history of improving the lives of, and supporting older people to live independently for longer in their own homes.

Our range of support services enable older people to access the help they need, when they need it. 

Last year our free and confidential Information and Advice Service secured over £1.9 million benefits for vulnerable older people whilst our Befriending Service helped 795 lonely peeple in Essex. In the past year Age UK Essex has reached over 100,000 people.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual with a proven track record of formulating and implementing fundraising strategies and achieving annual income targets to generate unrestricted funds to support the running and growth of our vital free services.

The ideal candidate would be a passionate individual looking for a change in pace who feels that making a difference to the lives of our older residents is paramount.
