Your fundraising can transform the UK’s approach to alcohol.

Alcohol misuse harms everyone – not just those who drink, but those around them. It’s also completely avoidable. More than 10 million people in the UK are drinking to excess, costing the NHS £3.5 billion a year and our police, courts and prisons another £4 billion. We’re here to help people develop a better relationship with alcohol through campaigning for improved policies and regulation, creating a healthier drinking culture, delivering behaviour change programmes and championing cutting-edge research into alcohol and its effects. You can join us in transforming countless lives.

Bringing our new fundraising strategy to life, you will be central to our ambitions. Collaborating with a supportive senior team and deploying a brand new CRM system, you will effectively create our new fundraising function from scratch, with the autonomy to innovate and do things your way. We will look to you to maximise our reach as well as our income, leading our innovative engagement programme and giving you a crucial role to play in changing Britain’s drinking culture. We’re looking for a dedicated professional with a hands-on approach and the determination to transform lives.

With a proven track record of success in individual, community or in memoriam giving, and ideally some experience of legacy, corporate or trusts fundraising, you will be able to lead from the front from your first day. Generating persuasive business cases should be second nature to you, and you will be capable of inspiring colleagues, donors and prospects alike. You will be equally comfortable shaping strategy, writing copy, and manipulating databases. Above all, you will be an outstanding manager and team-player who can get the best from both people and processes.

In return, we offer a 6% employer contribution towards your pension, a salary sacrifice scheme, flexible hours and healthy investment in your training and development, among other benefits.
