Office of the Vice-Provost (Development)

Alumni Relations Manager (Students)

The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,056 - £41,163 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

Philanthropy at UCL is about more than raising funds to support projects – it is about breaking down barriers, providing opportunities, and supporting the University to challenge convention, think differently and solve global challenges. In September 2016, UCL introduced a bold new global philanthropic Campaign.   It’s All Academic, which aims to raise £600m. At its heart is radical, disruptive thinking that has been at the core of UCL since it was founded in 1826.

As Alumni Relations Manager you will manage the delivery of a targeted and collaborative strategy for engaging the student community and raising awareness of the global philanthropic Campaign for UCL. This will range from communications with prospective and current students through to the delivery of an engaging alumni presence at Graduation to encourage new alumni to maintain their connection to the University. Students are a priority engagement audience for the Office of the Vice-Provost (Development) and the Campaign, which is a key enabler of the delivery of UCL2034.

You will have experience of working in a role with a responsibility for engaging a variety of audiences, ideally in alumni relations, membership programmes or volunteer management. You will have strong organisational and project management skills, and be accustomed to building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
