Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure. We are looking for a proactive and organised colleague to provide vital administrative support to the Corporate Fundraising team, helping us to identify new prospective partners and build excellent relationships with our existing supporters. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.

This position is available on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

Main tasks of the role:

  • Provide general administrative support for the Corporate Partnerships team.
  • Support the business development side of the Corporate Partnerships team to research and secure new corporate partners.
  • Work closely with the Corporate team’s Account Managers to provide bespoke administrative support to existing corporate partners.
  • Act as main point of contact for fundraisers from companies that are supporting the charity, making sure they have the materials and resources required to fundraise.
  • Respond to incoming team enquires in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Keep team records updated.
  • Undertake any other relevant duties and projects delegated by the Corporate Partnerships Managers in line with the responsibilities of the post.

What we are looking for:

  • A-Levels (or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
  • Confidence working with computers; knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience of working with databases.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Good planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as proactively and independently on own initiative.

Location: Granta Park, near Cambridge.

Salary: Circa £19,500 per annum, plus benefits
