Alzheimer’s Research UK is the fastest growing medical research charity in the UK, tackling dementia, the world’s greatest medical challenge. Dementia describes a set of debilitating cognitive symptoms caused by diseases of the brain, most commonly Alzheimer’s. But, like heart disease or cancer, the diseases behind dementia can be delayed, slowed or stopped with the right investment in pioneering research. Our mission is to help bring about the first life-changing treatment by 2025, with an ultimate vision to end the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia.

We are changing the way people think about dementia through award-winning campaigns #sharetheorange, #santaforgot, and revolutionising research with a world-leading strategy firmly focused on breakthroughs.

Our corporate partners choose Alzheimer’s Research UK because they recognise our pioneering spirit, creativity and our readiness to think and act differently. This approach typifies all of our teams, and our growing Corporate Partnerships Team is no exception, having an unrivalled opportunity to bring the power of influential corporate partners to bear on our greatest medical challenge. We have worked with awesome brands like Google, Dyson, Wickes, Axa and Brewdog to name a few.

We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join the Account Management team and be responsible for managing partnerships with leading UK and international corporates.

The main tasks of this role are:

  • Work with corporate partners to develop, encourage and support fundraising ideas and events
  • Effective monitoring of corporate fundraising activity
  • Work with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop and implement corporate fundraising strategies for ARUK
  • Represent the charity externally in a professional manner, including presenting to large audiences.

We are seeking proactive and driven individuals with exceptional account management skills to join our team in the role of Corporate Partnerships Officer, working to manage six figure partnerships with leading UK and international corporate organisations. The role requires someone with strong relationship management and business development skills, as well as attention to detail and an organised approach to a busy and varied workload.

We offer a competitive salary, non-contributory pension, flexible working hours and 25 days leave.

Interviews will be held on 14 September 2017. Please advise us in your cover letter if you are unable to interview on that date.
