Fundraising Officer (Mass Participation)

Position: Mass Participation Fundraising Officer 
Location: Flexible across England, Wales and Northern Ireland 
Contract type: Full time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: £32,908 (London), £29,697 (Fringe), £28,283 (National) actual per annum, depending location

About the role: 

The successful candidate will be part of our award-winning Mass Participation Events Team, sitting within the wider fundraising directorate. As a team we work to grow, develop and innovate mass fundraising products. We aim to provide the best possible supporter experience to increase signs ups and income, to ultimately support more people affected by dementia. We are looking to recruit a Mass Participation Fundraising Officer to be a key part of driving our exciting work forward, helping us deliver our ambitious target to raise over £11 million in 2019/2020. 

We are looking to recruit an Officer to work as part of the Mass Participation fundraising team, specifically working on Cupcake Day and Elf Day two of the Alzheimer’s Society’s mass participation fundraising products, which continue to grow year on year. 

This role will be delivering key aspects of the product campaigns, with a specific focus on supporter journeys, warm marketing to our supporters, developing fundraising and communication channels, relationship management and ensuring the best experience for our participants. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a dynamic and successful team and help grow our existing mass participation events. 

About you: 

You will be enthusiastic, creative and highly organised with the ability to project manage key areas of a complex large scale national campaign. You will be used to working collaboratively and be able to prioritize your workload effectively and remain solution focussed throughout your areas of work. You will be experienced in developing outstanding multi-channel supporter journeys and marketing plans utilising data and insight to inform your decisions. You will have a strong ability to account manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively. You will be a fantastic communicator, with great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is driven and passionate and will work to maximise our income to increase the impact we have on the lives of people affected by dementia.
