Partnership Manager / Relationships Manager (Fundraising)

Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. 

Position: Will to Remember Executive 
Location: South of England and Greater London. Travel around the region and to London will be required. 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: From £28,283 to £29,697 actual per annum, depending on location 

Closing date: 5pm on Thursday 28 June 
Interview date: TBC 

About the role: 

We’re facing an incredible challenge: over 1 million people in the UK will have dementia by 2021. But a world without dementia will come. Every day, our research helps us get closer to a cure for dementia and this would not be possible without voluntary funding. 

The Legacy team at Alzheimer’s Society has an enviable track record with income seeing exponential growth over the last 5 years achieving a record £23.5m for 2016/17. Legacy income accounts for almost 25% of the total income for the Society and this is an exciting time to join our team as we continue to grow in reputation as leaders in the sector. 

The Will to Remember Executive will be responsible for developing and stewarding crucial relationships with solicitors and supporters throughout the South of England and Greater London. You will work in collaboration with Regional teams across multiply directorates to increase awareness and growth of our Will to Remember scheme and the number of legacy pledges the society receives. 

About you: 

We are looking for a personable, enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join the Will to Remember team, maximising the growth of Alzheimer’s Society’s Will writing scheme and contributing to the Society’s fundraising strategy. 

You will act as the main point of contact for Will to Remember solicitors, legal firms and users in the South and Greater London regions. You will support and facilitate a range of training and information events, manage a robust stewardship programme and create various opportunities for developing new relationships with stakeholders.

Please note that the office location is flexible and can be agreed within Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall
