The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families maintains an annual revenue income of over £2 million per year, excluding tendered contracts, with a strategic emphasis on raising income from Statutory Funders, Trusts and Foundations whilst developing new income streams from Corporates, Major Donors and Community Fundraising. The Fundraising Assistant plays a vital role in supporting these fundraising activities. The Fundraising Assistant will work closely with the Centre’s Trusts and Foundations Manager and Head of Fundraising to help take the AFC’s fundraising strategy forward, with a particular focus on supporting the Major Donor income stream, individual giving, and Trust and Foundation income.

The role combines supporting the generation of new voluntary income and maintaining our relationships with current donors (approximately 45% time to be spent on generating new income and 55% of time on supporting existing relationships).  Working closely with the Trusts and Foundations Manager and Head of Fundraising the post holder will play a vital role in supporting the fundraising team to meet income targets and develop and maintain relationships with donors and prospects.

This is an exceptional opportunity for motivated, hard-working candidate who is looking for a career in fundraising.
