Community Fundraising Assistant

£24,409 per annum

35 hours per week

Marylebone, London

Blind Veterans UK supports blind and vision-impaired men and women offering a range of services to enable them to retain their independence. We believe that no one who has served their country should battle blindness alone.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Community Fundraising Assistant to join our regional and events team and support their busy portfolio of events and community fundraising activities.

Your role will be to administer new and existing Blind Veterans UK fundraising events and activities and to support the Regional Fundraising Development Manager (South) to maximise income from individuals and groups.

We see you as bringing to Blind Veterans sound project management and administrative ability. With previous community fundraising experience, you will need to be a skilled communicator who is able to engage others in a friendly and confident manner and who has the ability to successfully manage volunteer networks.

For this role, you will also have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems.

In return, we offer the opportunity to be part of a team that transforms lives. We also offer a wide range of benefits and career development opportunities for the right candidate.
