Community Fundraising Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Community Fundraising Team and other members of the Brain Tumour Research team to ensure effective delivery of the community fundraising strategy and plan.

Brain Tumour Research is a fast-growing national charity, passionate about finding a cure for brain tumours through the establishment of a network of experts in sustainable brain tumour research.

Contract: Maternity Cover (12 Months)
Hours of work: Full time
Location: Head Office in Milton Keynes
Salary: £22,550

Reporting to a Head of Community Fundraising, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and developing Brain Tumour Research’s Community Fundraising Supporter Management programme, which includes income management, supporter liaison, and administration
• Forging excellent relationships with supporters, volunteers and fundraising groups, providing fundraising advice, guidance and signposting, while promoting best practice in fundraising
• Acting as a liaison between the Community Fundraising Managers and the Finance and Operations Team to provide regular reports and other information to Community Fundraising Team to support delivery of income targets
• Managing self-registrant supporters for the annual Wear a Hat Day campaign, providing them with access to relevant information including SoR purchase/ordering relevant event merchandise, regular communications and campaign updates, post event updates and surveys

This is a 12-month maternity cover role starting at the beginning of October, based at Brain Tumour Research Head Office in Milton Keynes.
