Ayrshire Hospice is looking for a new Capital Campaign Director to lead an experienced Capital Campaign Team.  The Hospice is about to embark on a new Capital Campaign to raise £12M in order to renew its facilities and transform its capacity to care for every patient’s needs.

Over the last 30 years, the Ayrshire Hospice has been providing outstanding quality care and services which helps those with any life-limiting illness throughout Ayrshire and Arran. Care is provided where there is no cure for the condition, but which improves the quality of each day for people who have a limited time to live.

This ambitious £12M investment will:

• Create a modernised in-patient unit including 16 single rooms and two double rooms for those who are most seriously ill. It will be sympathetically designed to allow family members to be by a loved one’s side 24/7, if they choose, including the space to use a pull-down bed or sofa bed.

• Bring all services together in one building, with one entrance, public reception, waiting and café area, and a new central clinical support hub.

• Greatly improve support for families and friends, providing an improved overnight stay suite within the main building, so they can be close to their loved ones.

With already £6M secured, this incredible project has already raised half of the funds required; however, there is still work to be done! The challenge now is to raise the remaining £6M over the next 3 years. In order to successfully deliver this ambitious project, Ayrshire Hospice needs to attract an experience Capital Campaign Team to be led by a new Capital Campaign Director.
