Fundraising Officer (Individual Giving) 

This is a great opportunity for a talented fundraiser with strong database and communication skills to join our team! 

Canine Partners help adults who have a physical disability or condition that affects their daily life and limits their independence by training our assistance dogs to support them. With almost 400 disabled people now living with a fully trained canine partner in the UK our reach continues to increase. 

To help us create these amazing partnerships, we need amazing people. We have an exciting opportunity to join our charity as an Individual Giving Officer, based at our Southern Training Centre in beautiful countryside in Heyshott, West Sussex. 

Position: Individual Giving Officer 
Location: Heyshott, Midhurst, West Sussex 
Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week 
Salary: £19,099 to £23,873 per annum

About the Role: 

Working with the Head of Donor Development to develop a coordinated strategy for increasing income across all individual giving streams, you will help to deliver the existing individual giving programmes and maximise income from our donor base. Your role will cultivate relationships with our donors to enhance their long-term engagement and commitment and to ensure our supporters understand the impact their donations have on our life changing work. You’ll identify and maximise opportunities to grow individual giving income to engage supporters and raise income for our Charity. You’ll ensure the highest possible standard of supporter care is carried out and manage the annual communication for our donors. You’ll also respond to enquiries, and take responsibility for administration for both individual giving and donor events. 

About You: 

You’ll be creative with the ability to develop high quality written materials. You’ll have excellent administration skills including the use of databases. Your communication skills will be second to none and you’ll have the ability to multitask, prioritise workload, to work under pressure and to deadlines. We are looking for someone with a sound knowledge and understanding of individual giving with experience of developing and implementing an individual giving strategy.
