Community Engagement Co-ordinator

The Charity for Civil Servants is one of the largest occupational charities in the UK and we are recruiting for a Community Engagement Co-ordinator to ensure that the team is working in a highly efficient manner to maximise reach and donor generation for the Charity whilst ensuring value for money.

The role:

In this role you will have daily contact with the regional team, working closely to a clearly defined workflow process and travel and subsistence policy.  You will be responsible for driving efficiency, effectiveness and reach of the regional team by identifying innovative, practical and technological solutions.

You will, on occasion, liaise with civil service departments to consider proactive requests and identify support from the regional and volunteer team.

Your key objectives will be to:

  • Support the regional fundraising team with all administration working towards the agreed workflow process
  • Ensure the distribution of all internal and external communications are accurate and on time
  • Arrange accommodation, travel and process expenses on a daily basis
  • Use the Charity’s CRM system to ensure all details are correct and updated where necessary

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of developing and maintaining administrative systems
  • Experience of using a CRM system
  • Well organised and self-disciplined, able to cope under pressure
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
