Who we are

We’re CHIPS – Christian peacemakers living in the heart of conflict for over 50 years.

From Brixton to Ghana, we're invited to join communities to help build a sustainable future that’s free from violence and division. Inspired by the life of Jesus Christ, we believe that the best way to bring about lasting peace is to take sides. Both sides.

We have an ambitious programme to grow our peacemaking work around the world over the coming years.

The role

This new position of Communications & Fundraising Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a new strategy to significantly increase our income to enable this expansion.

As a key role in our small office team, you will work closely with the Director to realise this vision. Liaising with project staff in Brixton, Ghana and new locations to gather stories and project plans, you will use these and our rich history to create brilliant marketing materials to expand our network of individual, trust/grant and church supporters and maximise their engagement and giving.

Who we seek

We are seeking a creative, passionate communicator with experience in writing engaging stories and content. You’ll have the the confidence and adaptability to shape a persuasive fundraising ask for varied audiences, as well as the expertise to create, manage and deliver an ambitious strategy.

After undertaking a brand review over the last year, we are launching our new website, brand and messaging in February 2018 with vibrant visuals and storytelling at its heart. We need someone who can use and build on this to inspire many new people to support our peacemaking work.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking to step into a more strategic role, grow their experience and utilise their broad range of skills in a setting where they can have major impact.

There is an occupational requirement for the post holder to be Christian.
