Fixed term to 31st March 2018

Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Providence Row has been supporting homeless and vulnerably housed people since 1860.  Sadly and inexcusably the need is growing significantly and so we are developing our services to support some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

As we develop an ambitious new fundraising strategy we are seeking talented fundraisers who can help maximise income for this year.  If you are an excellent fundraiser driven by a belief in social justice we want to hear from you.

This post is focused on growing income in the current financial year from individual donors and churches.  We are seeking candidates with proven fundraising experience and the sensitivity to work with supporters who are motivated by their faith.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering an effective fundraising campaign to current church and individual donors
• Increasing the number of regular givers from our current supporter base
• Attracting new church and individual donors
• Leading the organisation of our annual Christmas carol service and post service fundraising event

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• The skills to take a lead in each of the areas above and experience in most of them
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The motivation to work with deadlines and achieve income targets
• Competence in IT and the use of  databases
• Commitment to the values of Providence Row and its dedicated supporters

The post holder reports to the Head of Fundraising
