Head of Individual Giving and Legacies

Today, 12 children and young people will be told ‘you have cancer’. This is not right. CLIC Sargent can only reach two out of three children and young people with cancer, and we need you to help us to change that.

Position: Head of Individual Giving and Legacies
Location: London, Bristol or home based within reasonable reach of London and Bristol
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: Circa £50,000

Closing Date: 9 August 2019
Interview Date: 21 August 2019

About the role:

You will lead our individual giving and legacy fundraising programme set to raise £10 million this year. We’re investing in this area and offer you a massive opportunity to come in and shape the programme and make your mark. We are looking for someone to push the boundaries, and to innovate, diversify and grow our income.

About you:

You’ll know the individual giving market inside out, and you’ll lead and inspire your teams to seize new opportunities. You’ll have a passion for providing legendary experience to your supporters – ‘good enough’ will not be enough for you. At CLIC Sargent we work as one team, and you’ll be able to bring your expertise in supporter marketing, digital and journey to bear beyond your own team.

What we offer:

In return for your commitment, we offer a great reward package, which includes generous annual leave entitlement, pension scheme and season ticket loan.

We are always looking for talented people from all backgrounds, to join us and help improve the lives of children and young people with cancer and their families. We particularly want to encourage people from under-represented groups to step forward and apply to work or volunteer with CLIC Sargent.

CLIC Sargent is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
