An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Fundraiser, with strong community outreach, marketing and events experience, to join our hard-working team raising c£400,000 annually.

Community Engagement & Events Fundraising Lead

Chichester
Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 pa dependent upon skills & experience
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Contract: Temporary 4 month contract (with possibility of extension)

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Communications, the successful candidate will help coordinate the activities of a small team engaged in stimulating community fundraising activity and planning/delivering St Wilfrid’s programme of fundraising events.

You will have drive and determination and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in community fundraising and engagement, with impressive results and evidence that you have inspired individuals and groups to initiate their own fundraising activities. Social media experience and knowledge is a bonus.

Ideally you will have a degree or relevant fundraising qualification, coupled with at least 3 years fundraising experience (or equivalent). You will be a team player who is able to work independently, strategically, innovatively and effectively, maintaining a confident and approachable manner with all internal and external audiences
