Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and numbers are set to rise to over 1 million by 2025.

Position: Community Fundraiser - East Midlands

Location: Leicester or Islip (role covers Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire)

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 35 per week

Salary: £27,304 actual per annum

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative person who has experience of working with donors and volunteers. This is an exciting opportunity to develop volunteer led fundraising across the East Midlands area to support the vital work of the Society.

As the Community Fundraiser for the area you will oversee the development of a volunteer delivered, staff enabled community fundraising plan. Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be able to engage a range of supporters to promote the work, vision and purpose of the Alzheimer’s Society through the delivery of local, regional and national fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
