St. Margaret’s Hospice is the leading provider of end of life services in Somerset. Our track record of investing in high quality and caring support means we are one of the UK’s largest Hospices.

We deliver care for over 3,200 people each year who face a life limiting illness. Only 25% of our costs are supported by the NHS. The rest is provided by charitable income through our fundraising, our shops and from donations. Our pioneering services depend upon the best people who can innovate and provide the best care possible for patients and their families.

Community Fundraiser
37 hours per week
Salary: £23,897 per annum
Based: Taunton, Somerset

An exciting opportunity could be just around the corner, as we are looking for a Community Fundraiser to join our busy community, corporate and events team.  As a Community Fundraiser you will be involved in developing our ambitious income growth over the next 5 years.

You will be required to secure income from a variety of sources including organisations, groups and volunteers, developing new networks and supporting those already established. You will be focussed on relationship building, account management and meeting fundraising targets. As no two days are ever the same you need to be able to manage a busy diary and think on your feet.

If you are organised and motivated, have excellent communication and planning skills together with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages then this is the role for you.

This post will be based at our Taunton hospice and cover the Taunton area and surrounding villages.
