Depaul helps people around the UK who are homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged, with a special focus on young people. We are a homelessness charity with the largest network of emergency accommodation for young people in the UK, making a difference to the lives of thousands of young people each year. You will have a vital role to play in helping us achieve our mission of offering homeless and disadvantaged people the opportunity to fulfill their potential and move towards an independent and positive future. This a great opportunity to be part of an ambitious team committed to ending youth homelessness across Manchester.

You will have the responsibility to develop the support of churches and schools through giving and volunteering. Since we started in 1989, we’ve made a difference to over 63,000 young people.  To find out more about the work we do visit our website or follow us on facebook.

The ideal candidate will have experience of

  • inspiring support from churches and schools, including recruiting, training and supporting volunteer
  • stimulating action through delivering compelling talks
  • relevant experience in fundraising, sales or campaigning
  • working proactively within a team environmen
  • building strong working relationships with supporters or customer
  • working within a target driven environment

In addition you will be:

  • passionate about telling the stories of Depaul’s young people and staff
  • obsessive about your numbers and methodical in your planning for success
  • willing to travel

You do not need to be any particular faith for this role, just enthusiastic and happy to work with children and adults in churches and schools.
