The Corporate Partnerships Officer will work as part of our dedicated Fundraising and Marketing team, with primary responsibility for corporate partnerships; account management as well as identifying and securing new business.

In addition, the successful candidate will help to develop strategies and plans for corporate fundraising to support, develop and maximise income from this area, in line with our Business Plan.

Elements of marketing associated with corporate fundraising are also part of the role and these may include giving presentations, producing materials, contributing to the Step by Step website, contributing to the newsletters and Annual Review and keeping the database up to date.

Key responsibilities for the role will involve:

  • taking the lead in developing new corporate relationships
  • providing a high level of account management for all corporate partnerships
  • managing portfolio of accounts, building on-going and long term partnerships with companies, maximising opportunities such as sponsorship, gifts in kind or pro bono work, volunteering, corporate or employee donations, cause related marketing, matched funding, payroll giving etc
  • meeting members of the public and organisations to promote corporate fundraising through events and appeals whilst gathering contact details for fundraising and marketing purposes
  • increasing levels of donations to Step by Step through corporate partnerships
