Capital Funding Specialist

CREST is seeking to engage a consultant with a proven track record in the field of sourcing and realising a capital purchase funding package for a community premises in a very short time period.  We envisage this will comprise a mix of trust/grant funding, social loan, local financial support and/or partnering with a social developer.  We are looking for a time-limited package of support to advise us on how best to approach this, and to help pull together content that we can use flexibly in funding applications and pitches.

This is to achieve the purchase of a vibrant community centre, used by a highly diverse mix of education providers, faith groups and other community groups in central Walthamstow.  The total amount needed is in the region of £1m.  The most pressing issue is the production and delivery of an investment proposal for two Big Local community development programmes, but we are looking for content that we can use for a number of audiences.
