About us

Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

It is a fantastic time to join Crisis’ fundraising team. Our Supporter in the Room philosophy is establishing us as sector leaders in the realm of supporter experience. Fundraising income is growing, our department is expanding, and each year we are reaching more and more wonderful supporters who share our passion to end homelessness.

About the role

This is a new role in the newly-formed Supporter Experience team, focussed on delivering a sector-leading supporter experience for all our audiences. The Stewardship Executive will champion our award-winning Supporter in the Room philosophy. They will work with various audiences to deliver outstanding levels of stewardship, making our supporters feel valued, conveying the impact of their support, and helping them experience the joy of giving.

The role will also manage our philanthropy prospects (often referred to as mid-value fundraising), creating a programme of communications that offers these supporters a deeper, broader relationship with Crisis, and explores their potential to become major philanthropists.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have experience of delivering outstanding stewardship and supporter care, as well as knowledge of direct marketing.

Skilled at project management, working with internal and external stakeholders, you will have demonstrable organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple deadlines. You will also be an excellent communicator, astute at working across all areas of the organisation to develop tailored supporter journeys.

You will bring creativity, passion and innovation to this role, determined to establish Crisis as the sector-leader in supporter experience.

Benefits

As a member of the team you will have access to a wide range of employee benefits including:

  • Interest free loans to purchase a train season ticket or a bike or for a deposit to secure a tenancy
