An exciting opportunity has presented itself for an experienced, Data Planner at one of the best loved charities.

As a Data Planner you will provide expert advise, tools and solutions to ensure, as an organisation we are maximising the value of our database.

Role details;

  • Location: Burghfield Common, Reading
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Interviews: Week commencing 10th July
  • Key requirements: Right to work in the UK

What will you get to do?

  • In this challenging and hands-on role, you will provide insight by data mining using SQL, advanced Excel and Power BI
  • Increase our understanding of our data with your ability to convey complex findings in an easy to understand manner
  • Prioritise requests from different areas for the organisation, often with conflicting interests
  • Assess the relative impact of each communication and if and how they fit into the organisation’s overall supporter journey
  • Help us become a data driven organisation and champion an amazing supporter experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Educated to degree or diploma level or minimum three years in similar role with medium/large organisation
  • Highly literate and numerate, ideally with a qualification in Mathematics or Statistics
  • Familiar with structure and manipulation of large databases
  • Good knowledge of Data Protection principles
  • Very competent in Excel and excellent knowledge of SQL queries along with Word and PowerPoint.
