An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sensory Support Officer (SSO) to join our team! 

We are a Disability Confident employer with vibrant offices in Macclesfield, Northwich & Chester, offering various types of support related to sensory loss (sight/hearing loss) for people across Flintshire. We require a professional & approachable individual with strong administrative skills & a proactive attitude, able to work on own initiative. In this post you’ll be completing ‘What Matters’ Assessments in line with FCC’s recording policies & procedures. Support may be around information, advice/guidance & providing practical/emotional support to clients with a sensory loss. You will be visiting clients in their own homes or providing support within DSN offices.

This position will involve regular travel throughout Flintshire therefore a full driving licence & own transport are essential to the role. You may also be required to provide support in Cheshire & Wrexham to cover emergencies.
