Fundraising Manager

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become deafPLUS’ Fundraising Manager. A position that will take the lead on the further development of deafPLUS’ fundraising initiatives (Trusts, Corporate, and individual donors) and fundraising strategy.

Key responsibilities include; Managing and leading the identification of, and approaches to, trusts, foundations and companies, Community and event fundraising, implementing our fundraising strategy, donor development (donor retention and legacies).

We are seeking a Fundraising Manager with excellent writing and research skills who can lead our approaches to trusts, foundations and companies. You will develop compelling cases for support based upon our existing and planned projects, and identify potential funders for each project. Excellent communication skills are essential and you should be able to demonstrate the ability to develop relationships with donors.

While at least one year’s experience of trust fundraising and evidence of fundraising success is desirable, we will accept applications from high calibre graduates with the right skills who are seeking a career in charity fundraising.
