An exciting new role to help support the continuous output of high quality, targeted digital communications from Dementia UK, across all channels. Working closely with the Digital Communications Lead and the Content Officer, the Digital Marketing Executive will help build into Dementia UK’s digital and content strategies, upholding and furthering the charity’s values and strategic aims across our website and social media content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the charity's website, using WordPress CMS

  • Daily management of social media communications with supporters and interested parties

  • Work closely with the Content Officer to develop and optimise digital and social media outputs including text, images, video and audio to reach wide-ranging target audiences

  • Produce and execute digital marketing (PPC, SEO, Email) and social media plans to support our organisational objectives

  • Use analytic tools to report on social media and web performance

  • Spot trends and advise on content across a variety of digital channels and make informed recommendations on new technologies

  • Support the Digital Communications Lead in developing and delivering a digital strategy

  • Support the growth of social media networks and audiences

  • Provide effective digital marketing support for all directorates, ensuring that all digital marketing decisions and activities are aligned with and support the organisation's strategy

  • Work with teams across the charity, helping them measure and improve the effectiveness of their digital marketing

  • Build excellent working relationships with external agencies and suppliers

  • Protect and enhance the organisation's public reputation when speaking on its behalf

  • Facilitate, where required, technical aspects of email send-out including coding

  • Using SEO knowledge to advise on and play an active role in the generation of ideas for Dementia UK's website content and offsite digital campaigns
