Development Coordinator

South London Cares are seeking an experienced, passionate, diligent, tenacious, organised fundraiser to join our growing team as Development Coordinator to lead on our various inclusive challenge activities, events, partnerships and campaigns.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team tackling one of the biggest social challenges of our time – loneliness and isolation in our capital city.

A committed, driven, self-starting people-person, you will work with our experienced Head of Development and the rest of our growing team to raise £150,000 of income each year, to help fund our community network of activities and interactions between young professionals and older neighbours. 

Day-to-day you will design and deliver inclusive, engaging fundraising initiatives like our award-winning Big Give campaign. You will inspire and support scores of volunteers to participate in exciting challenge events like our recent 50k and 100k walks. You will manage important partnerships with business supporters. And you will be responsible for composing powerful proposals to partner councils, trusts and foundations – so that we can deepen and grow South London Cares' work.
