Elmhurst Ballet School, in association with Birmingham Royal Ballet, is a world-renowned centre of excellence for the training and education of elite classical ballet dancers.  We believe that talent is classless and that talented, passionate and committed young people should be given an opportunity to take their places on the world stage, regardless of their financial circumstances.

We are an independent school which benefits from Department for Education and Education Skills Funding Agency support to help students in need, but also relies on the generosity of our donors to enable bursaries, capital investment and added value programmes and experiences which enrich the development of our students.

This is where we need you.  We are creating a new Development team, comprising a Development Director, Head of Relationships and Development Coordinator.

Reporting to the Development Director and working closely with the Head of Relationships, the role of Development Coordinator is varied with responsibility for developing and maintaining the School’s communication channels, copy writing for multiple audiences, commissioning advertising and print, maintaining the CRM system, organising events and supporting the Development Director and Head of Relationships, as required.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar environment, or you will have sound communication and event organisational skills gained through higher education.  You will have excellent communication skills, including an aptitude for social media and ICT systems and be a team player with a flexible approach to working.  An interest in ballet and education would be an advantage.
