Have you experience in targeted sales and do you enjoy building relationships? Are you someone with a talent for spotting opportunities and making connections? Do you have an ability to gather information and use it to create compelling proposals?

Queen’s University is seeking to appoint a motivated, dynamic and results oriented individual to join the Development and Alumni Relations team.

Following the success of the second successful fundraising campaign, which raised £140m, the Development and Alumni Relations office is looking for an experienced fundraiser, or person with transferable skills who would like to move into this area of work.

Philanthropic gifts play a vital role in enabling Queen’s to implement its bold and imaginative plans. A dynamic and diverse institution, Queen’s is a magnet for inward investment, a major employer and investor, a patron of the arts and a global player in areas ranging from cancer research to sustainability, and from food security to cyber security.

To succeed in this role, you will have a track record of developing a pipeline of prospects, securing gifts from individuals and/or businesses, and meeting financial targets. Working in a team of professionals, your strong communication and influencing skills enable you to quickly establish rapport and win the confidence of those around you. You will have demonstrable experience in developing and managing relationships and a belief in the impact higher education can have on society.
