You will manage a global portfolio of trust prospects to raise 5, 6 and 7 figure gifts, creating compelling proposals to engage and inspire donors. You will also support the Senior Management Team to articulate big ideas from around the University, in the development of cases for support and the writing of proposals.

The role will complement and add value to the existing grant-seeking activities of the Major Gifts team. The role is not attached to a particular project or School and will therefore have the opportunity to acquire knowledge of and raise support for all university priorities. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in the Major Gifts team, providing support and expert advice in building relationships with trusts and in developing high-quality trust applications.

The successful applicant will be an experienced proposal writer who is effective at building relationships with professional and academic colleagues and will have excellent communication skills and the ability to comprehend, digest and express complicated information.

This is a full time post – 35 hours per week.
