We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Fundraising Manager to join our team and lead our fundraising, communications and monitoring activities.

The Role 

As the Fundraising Manager, you will oversee our fundraising, communications and monitoring activities, ensuring we have sufficient income and can continue to grow. You will also deputise for the CEO in their absence. 

Regularly travelling between our three centres in Reading, Newbury and Wokingham, you will: 

- Oversee, develop and support a Communications Assistant and Bid Writer 
- Create and lead the delivery of our fundraising strategy 
- Secure sponsorship for events and activities 
- Act as a champion for our charity and represent us externally, building our reputation on a local and national level 
- Help our Centre Managers to understand and utilise our reporting features 
- Support staff in using data to demonstrate the charity’s impact 

About You 

To join us as our Fundraising Manager, you will need: 

- Experience of securing significant funds through a variety of income streams 
- Previous experience of creating marketing materials and running campaigns that target different audiences through a range of media channels 
- A track record of designing and using monitoring and evaluation processes show demonstrable organisational impact and drive improvements 
- To be a confident speaker and networker with proven success of building corporate and major donor partnerships 
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to accurately review the quality of bids
