Stewardship & Parish Resources Adviser

We are looking for a colleague who will play a crucial role in supporting our churches by:

• Championing Christian stewardship  through advice, training and public speaking
• Enabling effective fundraising to finance mission, through advising on planned giving and wider sources of income and signposting to grants
• Growing, training and leading a team of voluntary advisers who will be available to work across the diocese and take on a direct support role for parishes

We are seeking someone with:

• Experience of grants and fundraising

• The ability to understand and communicate the theology which underpins Christian principles of giving 
• The ability to encourage others to think in entrepreneurial ways
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to speak persuasively to different groups of people
• The ability to analyse information and produce clear reports

An Occupational Requirement exists for the post-holder to be a practicing Christian in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
