Are you passionate about seeing a world in which the daily lives of people are free of corruption?

Transparency International, the world’s leading anti-corruption organisation, is made up of over 100 national chapters worldwide, with a coordinating secretariat in Berlin. Transparency International UK (TI-UK) is TI’s UK Chapter and is a registered charity. In addition to tackling corruption within the UK, TI-UK hosts global programmes on behalf of the wider TI movement.

Corruption is the abuse of entrusted power for private gain. It hurts everyone whose life, livelihood or well-being depends on the integrity of people in a position of authority. Corruption holds back economic development, prevents markets operating fairly for businesses and consumers, and further exploits already marginalised people.

Transparency International UK (TI-UK) is seeking to appoint an exceptional Director for its Fundraising & Communications teams in this newly created role, which will bring together two existing teams into a single coordinated unit. Reporting to the Executive Director, and as a part of the senior management team, this is an opportunity to play a significant role in a highly-respected and influential organisation with global reach. It offers the chance to make a substantial difference to the positioning, resource base and success of the anti-corruption movement - through your personal leadership, management and service.

The successful candidate will be both hands on and strategic, committed to TI’s cause and values and able to take the charity’s impressive achievements to a new level. Following a period of organic growth, we need a dynamic individual who can help us to formulate a coherent strategy and place fundraising and communications at the heart of our organisation. The successful candidate will bring:

  • proven extensive leadership and management capabilities, with the ability to inspire, empower and motivate others and build high-performing teams;
  • significant senior management experience in communications and fundraising, with demonstrable track record of successful results;
  • commitment to Transparency International’s values and a working style that reflects these, including continuous professional development of the individual and their team.

The role will be based in central London. To apply or download further information on the required qualifications, skills and experience for the role please click on the 'Apply on Website' button. The closing date for applications is 9am GMT on Tuesday 7th November 2017.
