Director of Brand and Public Fundraising
Location:
London
Salary: Circa £75,000 per annum
Closing Date: 08/05/2017
Reference: LCD6327

One in six people in the UK will have a disability in their lifetime and we want to make sure they have the opportunity to live their lives to their full potential.

Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) is the UK's largest voluntary sector provider of services for disabled people. Our services include high-quality care and community support together with innovative projects supporting disabled people into education, employment and entrepreneurship. Worldwide, our global alliance of Cheshire partners supports disabled people into education and employment, and works in more than 50 countries.

We now seek an exceptional individual who can lead the development of Leonard Cheshire Disability's (LCD) brand presence, marketing, communications and public fundraising.  This is a pivotal role, as our brand awareness is significantly lower than many smaller organisations that don't operate at our scale or have our national and global reach.

You will provide inspirational leadership to our national and local fundraising teams, as well as to our brand, marketing and digital teams. You will also contribute to our strategy and to ensuring that our values are reflected in all we do.

The ideal candidate will bring their exceptional track record of growing fundraising income, their extensive experience and knowledge of marketing strategy and techniques and demonstrate their outstanding leadership in a large and complex organisation.

If you bring exceptional contemporary communication and influencing skills, have the ability to take a fresh perspective and share a commitment to the values and ethos of our charity, we look forward to hearing from you.
