Circa. £80,000 (more may be available for an exceptional candidate)

As we celebrate our 125th anniversary in 2017, we reach both a significant milestone in our history and start on a new direction towards achieving our ambitious vision and goals.

We plan to lead the world with pioneering research into genomic sequencing which will transform the treatment and management of epilepsy in the future.  And there is still more to do. Under the leadership of our new Chief Executive, this is an exciting and pivotal time to join the Society as we shape and develop our organisation to deliver even greater impact over the next 125 years.

We’re looking for an outstanding and innovative Director of Fundraising who will develop and empower a dedicated team across fundraising, marketing and external affairs to think and achieve even bigger and better things.  As a key member of our Executive Board, you will shape and lead our fundraising and marketing strategy to deliver a step-change in our income generation and profile, and actively contribute towards the wider strategic direction of our organisation. Ours is a collaborative culture where we value courage and ambition and the senior leadership team must reflect those values and be agile in order for us to reach our objectives.

This role requires a senior leader with an outstanding track record of achievement gained as a senior income generator across a broad range of fundraising disciplines. You will bring real entrepreneurial flair with a confident, can do approach that will inspire others internally and externally through your vision and passion for our cause.

In return, we are offering a career defining opportunity to impact on an organisation that is tackling a health issue that affects people of all walks of life.
