Full Time – 35 Hours per week
Mondays to Fridays 9am to 5pm
Salary up to £23,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Office-based options include working from Banbury & Bristol and the possibility of working from home

This entry level role is ideal if you are considering working in fundraising and have the right transferable skills.  The charity is looking for a self-motivated individual to join our busy Fundraising Team.

The role will cover Bristol and the South West, South Wales and surrounding counties.  While the role is predominantly office-based, there are different locations available (including a level of working from home).  However the post holder will need to be prepared to work from the charity’s Bristol office approximately once a week for events, activities and meetings.

The role focuses primarily on developing new fundraising opportunities within the region as well as managing existing relationships.  You will work as part of the regional fundraising team, ensuring effective planning and delivery of the fundraising strategy within your region as well as promoting national initiatives.

The role will involve working with regional clients (with their assistance dogs), volunteers, supporter groups, community groups, small corporates and a wide range of individual fundraisers.  This will involve liaising with local media and contributing to the overall charity communications strategy.

Experience of generating income from a wide range of sources and managing volunteers is desirable.  You will be confident and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills and a proven background of managing your own workload to meet targets and deadlines. You will need excellent grammar, an eye for detail and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience working with databases.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as is an ability to work some evenings and weekends.

Please note we are not able to employ anyone under 18 years of age.

If you are interested in applying for this role, please download an Application Form and an Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form, both of which should be completed and returned to Sarah Knight, Office Manager, Dogs for Good, The Frances Hay Centre, Blacklocks Hill, Banbury, Oxon, OX17 2BS.  CV's can only be accepted when accompanied by a Dogs for Good Application Form.

Closing date for applications is 10am on Monday 18 December 2017.

Interview dates will be announced after the closing date.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
