About the Role:

Do you balance an aptitude for compelling impact reporting with expertise in grant and financial management? If so, join Alzheimer’s Society as our Donor Investment and Impact Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Cause and Donor Impact within Fundraising, you’ll lead our grant management and reporting team, responsible for timely, accurate and efficient reporting on restricted donations. Comfortable writing for major donor, trust and corporate audiences, you’ll track project income, expenditure and activities, and make sure that our reporting to funders meets their requirements, clearly and credibly showing the impact of their support and the difference they’ve made. With ambitious plans for growth and exciting new projects to be funded, this role is central to excellent stewardship and retention of our biggest supporters.

At the same time, you’ll play a key role in tracking restricted donations for Fundraising, making sure that we have accurate records of restricted proposals and secured income, and working with Finance to ensure donations are coded correctly. You’ll work with team colleagues to gather information on plans and budgets across the Society and help to spot opportunities for other restricted asks to be made.

About You:

Preferably educated to degree standard or equivalent, your knowledge of the UK voluntary sector ideally includes an understanding of medical or care charities. You have a track record of managing and reporting on complex and high-value grants, excellent data management skills and the ability to review and edit documents. Adept at budgeting and financial management, you are a creative problem solver who is unfazed by competing deadlines. Your excellent project management skills are complemented by strong attention to detail and a flair for analysing and presenting financial and non-financial information clearly and succinctly.

Comfortable liaising across the Society and externally at all levels, you’ll be a true ambassador for those affected by dementia, and excited to join a growing team that’s rapidly becoming central to our fundraising success.

Alzheimer’s Society is committed to equal opportunities.
