Fundraiser

Please refer to the full application pack attached. Renumeration package includes a salary of £22,000 per annum plus a conditional bonus of £2,000 on completion of the full contract subject to performance. 

This role is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) role with a fixed duration of 12 months (June 2019 – June 2020), funded by the Big Lottery and the Department for Digital, Media, Sport and Culture ‘s Youth Investment Fund.

The role is for an experienced fund-raiser to support Darlington and Sunderland Scouts to identify and raise funds in order to sustain current growth in local scouting supported by the Big Lottery / Department for Digital, Media, Sport and Culture Youth Investment Fund.

The role requires current knowledge and the ability to research sources of suitable funding, a successful track record of identifying, applying for and receiving funding from various trusts, grant making bodies and local authorities and the ability to support scout districts and groups (each of which is a separate charity) to develop sustainable local fundraising initiatives.
