Head of Fundraising

We are looking for a highly motivated and engaging Head of Fundraising with experience in fundraising strategy delivery and campaign management to join us and lead the implementation, and development, of our fundraising plans.

In this position, you will increase our fundraising activity and secure long-term fundraising sustainability. Your targets will cover growth in business as usual and an exciting capital campaign. Our income was £330k in the last financial year, and we’re looking to increase that to £500k by 2024 whilst aiming to raise over £1m for a campaign in support of our Gateway project; our ambitious plans to transform our centre and improve visitor experience.

To succeed, you should possess strong leadership and stewardship skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to raise significant gifts. You should also share excitement of our strategic direction and convey a strong belief in your capacity to make a positive impact and to meet targets and objectives.

Founded over 35 years ago by our patrons, Sir Martin and Lady Audrey Wood, we are an environmental learning charity and guardian to some of South Oxfordshire's most loved green spaces. Our mission is to give access to and experience of the environment through the natural green spaces we manage and together understand what we can do to care for the planet.
