Special Events Fundraiser
Salary Band: £19,247 - £25,490 per annum
Location: Norwich
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Special Events Fundraiser to join our lifesaving charity. You will be joining an organisation which has been accredited for the second year running by Best Companies as a top employer. Our front line crew are operating 365 days a year to save the lives of people in our region and we are progressing with our new phase in fundraising - to fund even more lifesaving missions as we move to a 24 hour service by air.

You will provide the events know-how and logistical support for a variety of different teams across EAAA who have special event requirements. These events will include supporter roadshows, carol concerts, internal events (open days and staff days), major donor cultivation events and community engagement events.

Working closely with key colleagues across EAAA, you will build effective relationships with suppliers and providers, support the recruitment and management of volunteers, monitor budgets and assist with on the day event management, to achieve the event's specific objectives.

The success of our events is vital to raise money and promote our brand. You will deliver high quality supporter care to all EAAA supporters and event attendees to ensure they feel valued by the charity. We want everyone attending one of our events to have a great experience with EAAA and ultimately secure the support our life-saving crews need to stay in the air.

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is the charity providing a helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) for the people of East Anglia. Since our launch in 2000 we have attended over 20,000 lifesaving missions, touching the lives of many thousands of people.

Closing Date: 9am, Monday 14 October 2019
Interview Date: Monday 21 or Tuesday 22 October 2019

For an informal discussion about the role please contact East Anglian Air Ambulance and ask to speak to Catrina Miller, Events Manager.
