Volunteer Development Officer

Our dedicated volunteers are integral to the success of the Charity, and in this exciting role you will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing volunteers across Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

Volunteer Development Officer – Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire

Location: Melbourn, with some home working acceptable. 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

Annual salary: £20,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Reporting to the Volunteer Programme Manager, you will focus on managing and building on existing volunteer led activities to grow our income. You will use your proven experience in volunteer management to identify and implement new volunteer roles across Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire to support all aspects of charity activity and the recruitment of volunteers across the wider region.

Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will allow you to support and empower our volunteers to ensure they are confident and have the necessary resources to carry out their roles effectively and ultimately ensure they have a great experience throughout their time with us.

East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) is the charity providing a helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) for the people of East Anglia. Since our launch in 2000 we have attended over 20,000 lifesaving missions, touching the lives of many thousands of people.
