Fundraising Consultant

Are you a fundraising professional with experience of raising income from grant making trusts?  Family Friends is an award-winning family support charity based in North Kensington which specialises in befriending and mentoring. We are recruiting a Fundraising Consultant for one day per week to work from our offices in the short term and in the medium term to be more home-based. The charity provides long-term practical and emotional help to disadvantaged families living in Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith & Fulham and Brent through a network of 45 volunteers. Each volunteer supports either the parent or child in a family. We have a great record for ‘helping families to help themselves’. The Fundraiser role includes:

• Identifying and researching potential fundraising opportunities (10%)
• Completing applications and reports for grant-making trusts and statutory services (75%)
• Developing and maintaining reporting and application systems (5%)
• Helping develop fundraising strategy and monitoring results (10%)
